Did you know there are two kinds of ….

Good morning brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us pray. Father we thank you again for the privilege of being able to congregate and worship you and learn about you in freedom without being persecuted as many are throughout the world on this day. Father we know that where two or more are gathered in your name, that your presence will be felt. There are more than two here today Father and we acknowledge your presence and your power and the power of your holy spirit.  Father we are about to receive a message delivered by one of your angels. Please help us to put away our fears and put this message to work and step boldly out into the streets and care about the eternal destiny of our brothers and sisters who do not yet know Jesus. Through us, they can know Jesus and be saved also. And we ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

We’ve talked about the parachute of Jesus, we’ve talked about the consequences of a real literal hell that exists today, we’ve gone over Paul Washer’s sermon who tells us grace is NOT a free ride and it is going to take effort and sacrifice on our part doing the things God wants us to do and NOT doing the things God hates if we want to see the kingdom of heaven. We know from the parable of the wedding feast of Mathew 22 that man has three eternal destinies; wicked and unrighteous, righteous enough to stay out of hell, and holy.  We know the spirits of the wicked are cast into hell at death and will never escape hell, although they may be permanently annihilated in the lake of fire.  There is never a chance for those spirits to change destinations. We know the righteous, those saved but not considered the saints, stay on earth during the millennium and they will be required to stand before God at the judgment seat after the millennium. We know that only the holy, the bride of Christ, the saints, are made immortal and make the trip to the kingdom of heaven at the second coming.  We know that only these saints escape and are exempt from the judgment. The saints are those harvested by Jesus Christ at the second coming and taken to where He is now, in the kingdom of heaven, where He has prepared mansions for us. And we know the difference between the saints and just being righteous is that the saints do the will of the Father per Mathew 7:21.  If God’s holy spirit is truly in you; doing the will of the Father is a high priority of your everyday lifestyle. When you error and sin you immediately repent, not because you fear hell, but because you have offended the one you love. One of the things we can do in effecting the will of the Father is to witness our faith to others.  How many of us do that on a consistent basis after we leave church each week?

Jesus took a woman named Mary Katherine Baxter out of body, in spirit, to hell 30 different times to be able to accurately tell us all about a real literal hell that exists today. She tells of these encounters in her book Divine Revelation of Hell.  It’s an impressively frightful book. Pastor Enock has a copy of that book on my Bible lesson CD in the Heaven and Hell books folder. Jesus also took her to heaven ten different times to show her what heaven was like so she could report back to us that there is also a real literal heaven that is just as the Bible describes it. She writes about heaven in her book Divine Revelation of Heaven, also on the same CD pastor enock has.  I will tell you more about what she had to say in an upcoming sermon on heaven. But for now, understand that there is a special room in heaven where the angels record every person that you bring to Jesus by your own personal witness and testimony.  In fact, if I remember correctly from her book, you even get gemstones added to the walls of your own personal mansion whenever you bring someone to the good news of the Bible and they are saved.

Mark Twain once said, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds on your sails, and explore, dream and discover.”  He was talking about being passionate about something so you can live life with a greater significance.

Apostle Paul had a passion in his life. It was largely concern for the eternal destiny of others.  In 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 he names three things that fueled his passion. First he recognized that he was accountable to Christ for his service and he wanted to give a good accounting at the judgment seat of Christ. Secondly, Paul was driven by Christ’s love and a desire that others would know the love that he had experienced. Finally he understood that a lost and dying world needs Jesus as savior.  Paul’s passion for people was fueled by his love of Christ, and ours should be too.  Although speaking about Jesus with strangers is not within our comfort zone for most of us, let’s apply Mark Twains words of challenge and “sail away from the safe harbor”.  Let’s learn how to share our love of Christ with someone else whom we don’t know.

Soon, the real Messiah, Jesus, will come again. For those who are ready to meet Him, all will be better. He has prepared a place for us to be with Him forever! But many are not ready and we, like Paul, need to kindle our passion for the eternal destiny of others.  I am going to show you an easy foolproof way to do this and gain some gemstones for your mansion in the sky.

In March my wife and I are going to attend a healing school which is aimed at better preparing us to heal the sick in Jesus’ name.   Charles and Francis Hunter, not a young couple by the way, who run this school, do many things besides heal the sick. One of their passions is saving people by bringing strangers to Jesus.

The method I am about to share with you was shown to them by an angel of God.  They were in a restaurant in a small town in Missouri having lunch at a luncheon with a group of people after a meeting.  A gentleman came in and sat down at their table to eat with them. Inquiries after he had left revealed no one from the group knew who he was or where he had come from and they never saw him again.  Before he left he made an interesting statement. He said, “Francis, I know how much you’ve always loved winning people to Jesus and I want to tell you a new way and I want to share it with you.”

He said, As soon as the waitress gets to the table I will say to her, “There are two kinds of pretty waitresses in this restaurant; those who are saved and those who are about to be. Which are you?”

Francis was fascinated because the question doesn’t leave you an out. The person is either saved or the only other answer they can give you is, they are about to be.

This particular waitress started crying and said, “I guess I’m the last one”.
God’s Holy Spirit hit her right there and He had her completely prepared and hungry.

The man took her hand and said,” Repeat after me”.  He didn’t say pray with me or anything else, it was specifically, “repeat after me.”

Father forgive me my sins.
Jesus, come into my heart.
Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
Thank you Jesus, for saving me today.

Then the angel asked her,” Where is Jesus right now”.
If the answer is  “in my heart” say “Thank you Jesus”, and you are done.
If the answer is anything else, have them repeat the four sentences until the answer IS   “in my heart”.

That’s it, that’s all there is to it.  The whole thing consists of only 6   sentences. And you have to memorize the exact wordage in those sentences or it won’t work. Follow the angels directions exactly.

Depending on the situation you have to make up who it is you are addressing. If it is the cashier at the checkout counter, you would say,” There are two kinds of pretty cashiers in this store; those who are saved and those who are about to be. Which are you?”  That’s two sentences of the six. If she says she’s the first one, simply say, Thank you Jesus and you are done.        But if they hesitate or hem and haw or say they are about to be, or they belong to the second group, then lead them into the other four sentences. Ask them to repeat after you.

Father forgive me my sins.
Jesus, come into my heart.
Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
Thank you Jesus, for saving me today.

Then ask them,” Where is Jesus right now”.
If the answer is  “in my heart” say “Thank you Jesus”, and you are done.
If the answer is anything else, have them repeat the four sentences until the answer IS   “in my heart”.

That’s it, that’s all there is to it.  It is no more complicated than that.
You HAVE to memorize the four sentences. It does not work if you change the words. These are the exact words the angel told her to say and these are the exact words you have to use.

In church the other day we were encouraging everybody to go out and say, ”There are two kinds of people…” and one lady realized that her mother was not saved and was in the hospital in serious condition.  She immediately left church and went to the hospital and said to her mother,” Mother , there are two kinds of patients in this hospital, those who are saved, and those who are about to be. Which are you? Believe it or not the mother said,” I think it’s about time and I’m about to be.” Then the daughter led her to repeat the four sentences after her.   Do you have any idea what this did to the woman when her own mother repeated the sinner’s prayer?

Remember, you cannot lose because if the person is already saved then it is exciting for them to hear about Jesus. It’s a reinforcement. If they are not saved then you have the opportunity of bringing them right into the kingdom of God and maybe getting another gemstone added to the wall of your mansion. It is a delight to Jesus because that was His sole purpose in coming to earth.  He gave us that assignment and responsibility. When we do it, we are mightily blessed – and so is Jesus.

I want to challenge you to use your imagination in whatever situation you find yourself in. It now costs me more money to go shopping because instead of wheeling the groceries out to the car myself, I now let the grocery cart guys do it and when we get to the car and we’ve unloaded the groceries, besides giving them a tip, I nail them with the ,”Did you know there are two kinds of grocery attendants….?”  More than half say the prayer and others who are saved want to know more about me, what church I attend, my beliefs and that gives me a chance to share the parachute message with them and hand them a parachute tract to take with them and read.

People all over the world are hungry for the bread of life and thirsty for the living water of Jesus. Every person you meet is an opportunity. I want to encourage you, not only for the sake of those people out there who are crying for somebody to feed them, but it’s for your own sake because when you see what you are able to accomplish with four short sentences, you will be flying on cloud nine. It’s so easy and it produces so much fruit if we will just get out there and do it.  There’s that fruit thing again. How does Jesus know you are a good tree? Because you produce good fruit.

The devil is the one who tells you to keep your mouth shut. The devil is the one who says to you, “It won’t work”. The devil is the one who puts his hand over your mouth and says ,”Don’t say that name, Jesus”  but Jesus is saying, “Get out there and do it and do it now.”

A telephone call can be an interesting opportunity. A friend of ours answered the phone and the person on the other end did not recognize his voice and said, ”I’m sorry I must have dialed a wrong number”. But she said, no, you got the right number even if you dialed the wrong number.  There are two kinds of people who dial wrong numbers, those who are saved and those who are about to be; which are you? The man said ,”I guess I’m about to be because nobody ever asked me that question before.”  He prayed the prayer asking Jesus to come into his heart and was so grateful and thanked her over and over and over for asking him the “two kinds” question. He said no one had ever asked him if he knew Jesus before today.  How many of your friends would say that?

In one case a waitress was asked the two kinds question and she haughtily replied, “ I don’t discuss religion on the job”. The questioner replied,” I don’t discuss religion either; ‘I’m discussing your eternal destiny and whether you want to spend eternity in heaven or hell.”  The waitress said heaven. The questioner then said, “ then repeat this after me right now’.

Father forgive me my sins.
Jesus, come into my heart.
Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
Thank you Jesus, for saving me today.

The waitress did so and got saved right on the spot.

One time while walking down the street a lady came out of a bar. She had a waitress uniform on. She was confronted with, ”There are two kinds of people who work in a dining room who also have to work in a bar, those who are saved and those who are about to be.  Which are you??   Her answer was interesting. She said, “I am a Moslem”.  Then the statement was made, “ There are two kinds of Moslems, those who want to go to heaven and those who want to go to hell; which are you”?
She stated she wanted to go to heaven.  Then repeat after me.
Father forgive me my sins.
Jesus, come into my heart.
Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
Thank you Jesus, for saving me today.

When asked where Jesus was, she said He was in her heart.
EVERY individual is an opportunity.

You can take advantage of anything anyone says. Don’t ever underestimate the power of the holy spirit to pick up the people who really need saving and put them where they need to be put; in front of you. There are opportunities to do the “two kinds thing”  wherever you go; emergency rooms, gas stations, check out lines, lines of any kind your are waiting in.  People are hungry for the good news of God if we will only open our mouths and talk to them. I challenge you to take advantage of every opportunity, and every person who comes before you.  Jesus said, “Go out into the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Besides grocery store helpers who take your basket out to the car for you, virtually every stoplight is an opportunity here as the window washers and street vendors swarm upon your car to get a couple pesos for washing your windows in between lights or a chance to sell you something.  You see, when you give them their two pesos they feel obligated to hear you out; and most end up saying they are the second case and do say the prayer which brings Jesus into their heart.

The angel who brought this quick unevasive method to the Hunters must be gloating in Heaven, witnessing the hundreds and thousands of road kill stolen from satan and brought to Jesus using his quick simple method.

Remember. Every person you meet is an opportunity. Take advantage of that opportunity. Don’t let satan freeze your tongue and con you out of a save. Don’t change the wording the angel gave.  Say “repeat after me.”  If you say the word pray you may scare the sinner. After they pray, always ask them, ”Where is Jesus right now?”  If the answer is anything other than “In my heart”, have them repeat the four sentences

Father forgive me my sins.
Jesus, come into my heart.
Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
Thank you Jesus, for saving me today.

Until they respond that Jesus is in their heart.

God bless you brothers and sisters, go out and get your share, have a happy Sabbath .
That is the end of today’s message.
