Hypertension be-gone
if you just change the way you breathe.
This is an important story to read and get a handle on. Can it really be this easy?
You can order these devices from http://bestmdm.com/catalog/?cat_id=23 for $169
and you might try www.ebay.com  where I found one as low as $68. Type in samozdrav or frolov.
And further down I have a do it yourself pdf where you can make your own for less than a couple bucks.

www.control-your-blood-pressure.com  synergistically adds to the above method by programming
your in and out breathing for optimal timing to restore this function. I listen to these cd's on
my computer daily as well as when I am driving. Takes 15 minutes a day to see results.

Take a stopwatch and time yourself for one minute.
How many times do you breathe in one minute? If the answer is more than 4 to 6 times,
you need the information that is on this page. Your breathing rate is not considered normal, is
dangerous, is conducive to many diseases and is probably why you have high blood pressure.

How long can you comfortably hold your breathe before you HAVE to breathe again? 40
seconds is the norm. If you have to breathe at 20 seconds you are breathing enough for two people,
if you have to breathe at 10 seconds, you are breathing enough for four people. Many of us have
a CP (controlled pause) of less than 10 seconds, which is not good. It does not give time for oxygen
to be assimilated into our cells. We have to correct this. How? Read on.

This page is about changing how we breathe.
I offer several modes of relearning.
a. Toivos site, http://www.toivobreathing.com ,  gives manual techniques and all the information
is there on how to perform the exercises he recommends. He's been at this a long time.

b. There are two devices on the market you can purchase to help with this. Frolov's training device
and the Samozdrav breathing device which have the advantage that you are rebreathing  some
of your own air you expelled so the CO2 level is enhanced. The Samozdrav is the more advanced
of these two units in my opinion, offering adjustability in both how much fresh  air is admitted as
well as the ability to set breathing resistance, although the Frolov device is less expensive. The
Samozdrav device requires 4-6 months to achieve the desired results and goes through four
phases of training. Other modes may require longer to achieve the desired result.
You will see
adds on the net for a device called Resperate. It's expensive and is about timing but does not
enhance your CO2 intake from rebreathing your own expelled air in the process nor does it make
breathing more difficult which exercises and develops your lung diaphragm muscles.

c. AND, for all us broke people I have a do it yourself pdf I send out for free that allows you to
make a device for less than a buck or two which will get you there also, similar to the Frolov device.

Think this isn't a big problem?
Look at the graph below, taken from http://www.normalbreathing.com

This site uses up to 6 breathings per minute as normal. Toivo says 4 is the norm and 6 is
too many, but look at what has happened over the years. Most people were at the norm well
into the 50's and then it started going up. From the 90's on up the average is very very bad, 11
and 12 ventilations per minute. This means we're breathing so fast, CO2 doesn't have time to
build up and even though lots of oxygen is available, it doesn't get assimilated into our cells.
Chronic disease follows this breathing pattern. The more breaths we take per minute, the more hypertension, asthma, bronchitis, and colitis cases we see.

No matter which road you choose, a breathing exercise device, whether you buy it or make it
yourself that will get your breathing rate back to where it belongs in the 4-6 ventilations per
minute range, will solve many chronic disease health issues you may have including high blood
pressure and asthma issues. It can also make sleep apnea disappear. My sleep apnea has
already been greatly improved. I would wake up gasping for air and hyperventilating. The only
way I could stop it was to take in a deep breath, hold it, let it out slowly, and repeat. After about
three of those I could breathe normally. With all that breathing I was being starved of oxygen
because the CO2 wasn't there to let the oxygen assimilate into the cells.

The purpose of this page is to give you enough information that you will understand why you
absolutely need to do this. It is a very very serious issue. It's not something to ignore.

I purchased a .pdf called "Amazing DIY (do it yourself) Breathing Device that I  will send you for
free that tells you how to make a device instead of buying one. You really need to request this
from me as it contains much information you need to know to commit to the task of changing
your breathing rate you are about to undertake. It has to make sense to you before you will do it.
That's the purpose of building this page and buying the book for you; so it makes sense and you
will actually follow through with the program. This is not a one week program, but will have amazing
results if you will follow through on it. it did for my mother in law and I'm on the program now.

First of all - what makes us breathe?
You can't hold your breath for very long until your body makes you breathe. Rarely could a
person hold their breath long enough to be able to pass out, and if they did, their body would
make them start breathing again. I cover this in a separate section because I think it is important
for you to know. The question you will come up with then is just how did our rate of breathing get so messed up? If breathing is involuntary, why don't we breathe at the proper rate instead of taking
many short breaths and starving our tissues of oxygen that is available but not assimilated? I am
seeking that answer myself; and it appears only Russians know the story. Our doctors don't want
to infringe on their band aid pill profits to address the real issue and solution for chronic diseases.

Use the breathing device daily for specific time periods,  progressively increasing length of time
used each day, for four to six months and your blood pressure should normalize completely. Many
other benefits will be realized also.  This is an amazing live saving discovery from Russia. A simple solution  to reducing your blood pressure without expensive pharmaceutical drugs that have many
damaging side effects.

My Russian mother in law used (and still uses it) one of these devices to completely normalize
her high blood pressure problem.
My wife just went to Russia to renew her passport and came back with one of the devices you
see pictured above.  It is the rage there because of its proven effectiveness. She immediately
put me on the daily progression  to correct my blood carbon dioxide levels. At 11 liters/min  and
13 cycles per minute and a CP (controlled pause) of 20 on initial breathing rate, I am considered
very bad. Toivo, a Russian devoted to this very subject,  told me that in an email he sent me also
some time ago. Irina tests out initially at 7 liters a minute, which is at least three too high. 2-4 liters/min
is where we need to be at with a CP of 40 seconds.

The Samozdrav machine won three medals in Russia because of what it does, as well as it's simplicity.
If you use it , it works. It's not quick, but it works. It took a long time to get your breathing inappropriate
and it will take 4-6 months to straighten it back out again.

Hypertension, ishemiacal illness of the heart, asthma, insomnia, allergy, diabetes, migraine, arthritis... These and other diseases arise frequently at the senior age. Medicine is practically powerless against them - that is why they are called chronic diseases.

But why do they arise? The matter is that small blood vessels begin gradually to constrict after 25 years
of age because of hypodynamia (a disease of weakness, referring to physical and mental tiredness as
well as short breath with concurrent low fever, sweat, vexation, thirst, poor appetite, anorexia, red tongue with a little fur, feeble and rapid pulse) and stresses and this results in improper blood supply to the cells, and then on to all these diseases! High blood pressure (or hypertension) happens to all chronically sick people.

One should not consider all these diseases as unpleasant but as a bearable state. The most probable
outcome for a person with hypertension is a stroke or myocardial infraction (heart attack).

Are chronic diseases really incurable? Not at all! Special physical training, Yoga, or Buteyko’s breath method may help, but they are very wasteful of time and not always available.

Special breathing device - cosmic health's Samozdrav helps to restore the normal conductivity of
blood vessels in 5-6 months with much less expenditure. It is the best remedy for treatment of hypertension. The easy breathing procedure with the breathing device lasts only 20 minutes a day,
without any unpleasant sensations.

What is the difference between cosmic health's Samozdrav and other breathing devices ? The main
task of cosmic health is creating a hypercapnia air mixture, where the percentage of CO2 can be
regulated in harmless ranges. The method of training includes stepped increasing of CO2 in inhaled air.
The process of training is easy and can be done without day-by-day doctor’s supervision. The theory
is based on the research of Dr.Buteyko and academian Agadganyan.

All other devices (without exceptions) are more simple because of difference in training methods.
They confine in controlling oneself’s intensity of breathing (as in Dr. Buteyko’s method) and are
much more difficult to practice and use. But basically they are simply not as effective and it will take
longer to achieve the desired result.

Basically the Samozdrav machine pre-meters how much of your exhaled air is taken back in, in
the next breath, and how much of that breath is new air. There is an adjustment on the canister that changes this ratio and is set based upon how far along in the treatment program you are. It takes
4 to 6 months of using this every day to reset your breathing habits. The goal is with the device is to increase the carbon dioxide level in your bloodstream, which is the determining factor in how much
oxygen carried by the bloodstream is actually utilized by the cells. Many of us breathe many short
breaths per minute and this type of hyperventilating actually delivers very little of the oxygen carried
by the bloodstream to the cells for use. It is what is responsible for restricting the capillaries and
increasing our blood pressure and not letting our bodies do what they need to do. This can be reversed
by changing how we breathe, which changes this oxygen to carbon dioxide ratio in our bloodstream,
which allows more oxygen to be taken into the cells.

When we breathe more, faster, shorter breaths, CO2 levels in the bloodstream decrease,
blood vessels constrict, and vital organs (like the heart, brain, kidneys, liver, stomach, spleen,
colon, etc) get less blood supply. Breathing less frequently increases CO2 which results in more
oxygen becoming useable to the cells.

Many of us have high blood pressure.  As is discussed on my page at www.detailshere.com/heart
as well as in the videos shown at
www.mycardioforlife.com/8502.html,  this is a really  really serious
issue. Statistically we have a one in three chance of dying of heart disease, not good odds. Our
doctors tell  us, "I don't know what causes your high blood pressure, but I got a pill for it; let's try
this... you know the story".

Who would have ever thought that the real solution could be so simple as how we breathe.  There's
never a panacea for everything but this breathing exercise device has testimonials pouring in that
they have been cured of a myriad of other diseases also; bronchitis, high cholesterol, asthma,
colitis; it's a huge list; all from opening up the capillaries by increasing the carbon dioxide levels
in the bloodstream by reprogramming how we breathe. And it will solve erectile dysfunction problems
when those small capillaries are again opened up to allow blood to flow where it is supposed to.

Many of us have tried expensive pharmaceutical meds prescribed by our doctors to try and get rid
of our high blood pressure. Most of us suffered the side effects of these drugs, which are many,
including erectile dysfunction. Many of us have sought alternative remedies to get rid of hypertension; garlic, grapeseed extract, magnesium citrate, hawthorne berry, L Arginine and other non pharmaceuticals.
These provided some benefit but have not gotten us to where we need to go. We hadn't even thought about the carbon dioxide - oxygen ratio thing.

This discovery comes out of Russia. I was emailed by a Russian man, Toivo,  some time ago wanting
to know how to get the word out on his site on this issue as he claimed he had THEEE answer to high
blood pressure.  http://www.toivobreathing.com  is his website. All the information on his site is free.
The site is in English although he doesn't speak English.  He has studied this issue for many years. I believe he does have the answer along with a free solution, although I believe the Samozdrav  breathing device is a more accurate and quicker way to get the best results fastest. The Frolov device works too but does not have all the features of the Samozdrav set up.

In a nutshell,
we've all been taught that the blood carries oxygen to the cells through the bloodstream,
and the cells take in this oxygen and then give up the carbon dioxide as a waste product; but what we haven't been taught is the importance that specific carbon dioxide levels in the bloodstream play in this process. If sufficient carbon dioxide is not present, the oxygen does not get assimilated and your cells starve for oxygen even though that oxygen is present.

If you breath faster you will not get more oxygen into the body. CO2 is needed for the oxygen to get
into the body. This is one of the reasons exercise is healthy because you produce more CO2 and
thereby your body gets better oxygenated. People who are ill breathe more than healthy people.
But if they can reduce their breathing 24/7 to normal breathing most illnesses clear up or at least
improve because many chronic diseases are caused by areas of low oxygen levels.

Toivo's website accomplishes this by specific exercises you perform. That's all free.

Irina's Samozdrav breathing device does this more accurately as when you breathe
through the device you are actually breathing back in a portion (and this is adjustable on the device)
of your expelled air to increase the portion of carbon dioxide remaining in your body. It can also
meter the resistance to inhaling and exhaling. Kinda like breathing into a paper bag and rebreathing
that expelled air, but in this case the amount of CO2 taken back in is a regulated amount that is mixed
with fresh air
to give the desired end result. And the whole process is painless. You really don't notice much difference when sucking on the tube. After a few breaths into a paper bag you know something
ain't right.

Only ONE thing improves how well oxygen is obtained from the blood
- a proper, NORMATIVE carbon dioxide level

What you should know about carbon dioxide

When a human breathes through the open mouth, as usually happens with sufficient
load during jogging or working out, Nordic walking
or skiing, etc., then:

1.
Hyperventilation takes place in the lungs and as a result the body begins losing carbon dioxide, because of the relationship
between pressure and concentration. There is only 0.03% carbon dioxide
in the atmosphere but it NEEDS to be 6.5% in the pulmonary alveolus. The
atmosphere is almost a
vacuum for the open lungs through the mouth
.
2.    Since carbon dioxide volatilizes intensely, the lungs are unable to utilize the oxygen.  Only 15 minutes of breathing through the open mouth reduces the blood’s oxygen content by 25% causing the cells  to receive less oxygen than before. With insufficient oxygen, the cell’s metabolism becomes anaerobic. The acidification process is incomplete causing the formation of large amounts of lactic acid, which accelerates the aging process.

3.    When the body begins to lose carbon dioxide from the blood, it begins to produce and
deposit more cholesterol, TO AVOID THE LOSS OF
more CARBON DIOXIDE. Improve the
carbon dioxide content in the blood and the cholesterol will begin decreasing on its own. But what
do people/doctors
do? They begin FIGHTING the cholesterol. By reducing it, they lose more carbon dioxide and become even more ill.
4.    When the body (lungs) begins losing too much carbon dioxide, the body tries to fight it by producing SPUTUM in the lungs’ bronchi and bronchioles to bind the carbon dioxide. Our doctors do not want to improve breathing but instead start fighting the sputum, causing the illnesses to develop even
further

The biological importance of carbon dioxide:

·
Carbon dioxide helps oxygen circulate in the blood vessels, oftentimes it guarantees that the blood reaches particular cells at all. The problem
is that the capillaries before the cell are so narrow that
even the oxygen carrying erythrocyte is much wider in diameter than that of the blood
vessel the erythrocyte is supposed to “wiggle through”. When there is a normal amount of it, carbon dioxide on the other hand, with its large and strong molecule moves like a tank in the blood and widens the vessels.

· Carbon dioxide improves how well oxygen separates from hemoglobin and its journey to the cell.
If there is not enough carbon dioxide in the
blood, a large amount of oxygen remains within the
hemoglobin and the work the blood does transporting the oxygen from the lungs to the cell
and on to
the lungs is pointless.

· Cells use carbon dioxide to synthesize various substances (for forming proteins, fats, carbohydrates etc.). This is why regulating breathing and
increasing the level of CO2 helps restore the processes of
metabolism in case of various disorders.

· Carbon dioxide easily forms carbonic acid in the tissues and thus forms a part of the acid-alkaline regulation of the tissues. This is extremely important regarding vitamins, ferments, hormones and the effective functioning of metabolism.

· Carbon dioxide affects brain activity and in small amounts has a stimulating effect on neurons, i.e.
it is a natural stimulant and a
source of tone for the brain. It is extremely important for achieving and maintaining good mood and well-being. IF people ARE in a good mood and feel well, they don’t need
any additional stimulants (alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, etc.).

· Carbon dioxide affects the tone (activity) of smooth muscle tissue. The stomach, intestines, gall and urinary bladders, ureters and parts of the uterus are formed of smooth muscle tissue. The bronchi and intestinal walls also have smooth muscle tissue. The tone of the muscles is good with normal carbon dioxide levels. When the carbon dioxide level decreases, it causes spasms in smooth muscle tissue -
in the artery, intestines and other organs, while the veins may enlarge.

· Carbon dioxide also affects blood coagulations and viscosity.

Remember, only ONE thing improves how well oxygen is obtained from the blood
- a NORMATIVE carbon dioxide level

People with normal breathing - 15 to 20 times per minute (7.5 - 10 liters),. breathe too rapidly.
This means that there is too rapid of ventilation in their lungs and
arterial blood does not have
the possibility to be enriched with carbon dioxide and so begins constant oxygen famine in
tissues/cells. Tissue
hypoxia is not only the pathogenic basis for heart ischemia or stroke of
myocardium but it plays an important role in about 150 different
diseases.

It has been clinically proven that every per cent below the norm (the norm is 6.5%) makes micro
vessels narrow by 20 to 25 per cent. So breathing
  8 - 10 l/min keeps them 50% (or more) closed
-
The cause of high blood pressure. 3-4 liters a minute is what is good.

HYPOXIA causes bigger or smaller loss in sensing pain and the person would not be capable
of sensing how ill he/she really is!

Modern medicine can only cure the consequences of hypoxia not its original cause.

To make it short and clear: There are no medicines for hypoxia, it can only be and
has to be cured by yourself through proper breathing. You can train yourself to do this.

So we have again reached the reason WHY WE HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO BREATHE and how
to get the right concentration of carbon
dioxide in our bloodstream or how to organize it so that the
normal breathing amount would be close to two to four liters
per minute, which is needed to exclude hypoxia. See Tovio's site at http://www.toivobreathing.com  where he will show you the specific
breathing exercises to get your breathing down to the 2-4 liters/min range. All free.

Breathing training device
This section addresses information about the breathing device in the picture near the top of the page.
This is translated from Russian . The claim to fame is that after undergoing this training, 50 to 60 year
olds will feel and perform (work was the word used - work - Russians know how to work, trust me) like
they were 25.

Due to purely historical reasons, heart disease and hypertension became the main applications for this respiratory device. The Samozdrav breathing device has a similar physiological effect as the Buteyko breathing technique and the Frolov breathing device: intermittent hypercapnic hypoxic training.

Whatever breathing methods, techniques, and exercises we use, their effects depend on permanent changes in our automatic or unconscious breathing patterns and improved body-oxygen test results
(see test instructions below).

Hence, if one uses the Samozrdav for health improvement or sports performance, it is smart to
consider one's lifestyle factors based on Dr. Buteyko's discoveries. Otherwise, lack of nutrients,
or insufficient amount of physical exercise (with nose breathing only), or supine sleep, or mouth
breathing can undermine or halt any progress in breathing retraining. More info about the right
lifestyle for higher body oxygen levels can be found here: Learn the Buteyko Method.

How does the Samozdrav work?

The creators and promoters of the Samozdrav breathing device provide advanced ideas related
to effects of CO2 on blood vessels (vasodilation) and, hence, improved oxygen transport to all vital organs. Additional effects of CO2 are listed below.

Diaphragmatic breathing during breathing sessions is an additional factor that improves blood
oxygenation since most people are chest breathers. A large amplitude of respiratory movements is
an excellent massage of the abdominal organs and the lymphatic nodes located beneath the diaphragm.

People with hypertension (high blood pressure)
In comparison with the Frolov breathing device training, the creators of the Samozdrav suggest 4
stages of learning for people with high blood pressure or hypertension and other health problems.
For Level 1, first breathing sessions are short (e.g., 5-10 min depending on the health state of the
student). Later, during more advanced levels of learning, more resistance is created by limiting air
flow and by the application of an additional container (e.g., a large 1 Liter glass jar or a third large
plastic container). This makes breathing even more challenging, and higher CO2/body-oxygen levels
are achieved. However, it is also possible to use an additional or larger outer container for the Frolov breathing device or the Amazing DIY breathing device with the similar effects.

Another difference (in comparison with the Frolov device) is that the Samozdrav comes with a
special bag to measure minute ventilation at rest (in Liters/min) and calculate approximate alveolar
CO2 content. This is an additional advanced tool to evaluate your breathing.

The Samozdrav can dramatically improve one's health (see Buteyko Table of Health Zones and
Effects of Breathing Retraining). The effects of the program can be greatly amplified with right lifestyle changes.

The invention of Russian scientists is based on more than 40 years experience of training of
cosmonauts for space flights. The original idea involved inhalation of high content carbon dioxide
air with complicated equipment that was used in the Space program for the flight preparation of cosmonauts.

Now the new discovery of Russian medics and space scientists Samozdrav breathing complex
(Cosmic Health) is available for personal use at home and it is a faster method.

All diseases are caused by nerves and hypodynamia (a disease of weakness, refers to physical
and mental tiredness as well as short breath with concurrent low fever, sweat, vexation, thirst, poor appetite, anorexia, red tongue with a little fur, feeble and rapid pulse.)

Hypertension, ischemic illness of heart, asthma, insomnia, allergy, diabetes, migraine, arthritis.
These and other diseases arise frequently at the senior age. Medicine is practically powerless
against them - that is why they are called chronic diseases.

What about drugs people are using for treatment of chronic diseases? The main defect of all
drugs and recipes is but one - they gives temporary relief only. They all have unhealthy by-effects.
People get used to them and must change them periodically. Worst of all - all known drugs can't
influence the source of chronic diseases!

But why do chronic diseases arise?

Small blood vessels (capillaries) begin to gradually constrict after the person is 25 years old
because of hypodynamia and stresses and this results in improper blood supply of the cells
and organs, and then to all these diseases.

The breathing complex Samozdrav (Cosmic Health) helps to restore the normal conductivity of
blood vessels in 4 - 6 months. It is the best remedy for treatment of hypertension. The easy
breathing procedure with the  breathing device lasts only 20-30 minutes a day, without any
unpleasant sensations. You can watch TV or work on your computer while you use it.

The breathing complex Samozdrav (Cosmic Health) uses a method of physiological training of
the whole organism. Medical investigations of the people having used this method yield positive
results: the organism of 50 - 60-year's people begins to work almost as at 25-years ! More than
400,000 people in Russia and all over the World have used the breathing device Samozdrav
(Cosmic Health) to treat hypertension, asthma and other chronic diseases.

What is the Samozdrav breathing complex?

Physiologically Samozdrav (Cosmic Health) works equally to Buteyko's method - it yields compulsory increases of blood CO2 level. But the unpleasant procedure of holding one's breath now is eliminated. Besides that , the Cosmic Health device has another advantage - it's application is absolutely safe and training can be done without doctor's supervision.

This complex consists of two devices - Capnometer (gauge) and Capnicator (trainer).

Capnometer - device for breath intensity measurement. Its construction is very simple - it is plastic
sack with a valve. The full volume of the sack equals 13 litres. For measurement the sack is inflated
by normal breathing into it. By the time of its filling (1-4 min) it is possible to calculate (with the help of
a table) intensity of breath and then concentration of CO2 in the blood (norm = 6.5%). As a rule the intensity of breathe (ventilation) is reduced by 1.5-2 times after the 5th month of training.

Capnicator consist of three containers one inside another forming together a mixing chamber in
which fresh air is added to exhaled air in the desired ratio (there is about 5% of CO2 in exhaled air
but only 0.03% in external air). It is essential that the device does not create a simple mixture of
fresh and exhaled air (it would not give much useful effect), but a composition of heterogeneous
layers.

The training consist of four stages, a month's duration of each. Even within 4-6 weeks of use, a
significant and sustained reduction in blood pressure is achieved. To re-adjust the Capnicator for
the next stage you must turn the inner container to the next number. There is a full description in the manual.

How it works and Why you become healthier

Samozdrav (Cosmic Health) breathing complex extends arterioles and restores normal blood-flow
of all cells, tissues and organs in your organism. As a result they all began to function normally and pathology problems disappear.

The second main factor is that Samozdrav removes a spasm of all soft muscles of an organism.
Not only arterioles and arteries but bronchi, bowels walls, liver ducts, biliary tracts, urinary tracts,
ureter consist of soft muscles. That is why, with  a lack of CO2 in an organism not only microvessels
but unstriped muscles of other organs spasm, which is the main reason we get chronic diseases.

Breathing with the help of the device during a 30-minute session acts to increase CO2 level in the organism and this stays for a few hours after the training with the complex. This is a way of training
of the respiratory center to adapt to the increased CO2 level.

After a few months of training, the respiratory center readapts automatically to the normal 6.0% level
of CO2. During these months, there is a decrease in the depth of breathing and ventilation of lungs
and the level of CO2 in alveolar air in the lungs gradually becomes normal (6.0%). This in turn improves metabolism in all organism cells, leading to spasm relief in all soft muscles (vessels, bronchus, etc)
and a boost to the immune system generally.

After that the human organism becomes healthy and many symptoms of diseases disappear. Further more, cells will become more resistant to hypoxia (a condition in which the body or a region of the body
is deprived of adequate oxygen supply due to low carbon dioxide levels) because a reserve of oxygen supply is built up. The human organism becomes increasingly resistant to extreme stress, and to physical and mental exertion. As a result many diseases such as a heart attack or stroke can be prevented.

This simple 30 min breathing procedure brings the veins to a normal condition in 4 - 6 months so
then there is no need for the vein-dilative medication. A strain on the heart and blood pressure
normalize. Blood circulation in brain, heart and all other organs become normal too. The threat of
having a heart attack or a stroke disappears. Good blood circulation is an important preventative
measure to avoid breathing system, heart, vein system, alimentary tract, movement dysfunctions
which are caused by bad circulatory system work and muscle spasms.

Blood microcirculation improvement cures a lot of illnesses, such as hypertension, heart disease,
asthma, bronchitis, insomnia, allergy, migraine, arthritis, prostatic pain, colitis, hardened voiding,
peptic (gastric) ulcer, II type diabetes and others. Simple breathing exercise strengthens the body
immune system and helps you to prevent all kinds of infectious diseases, flu and so on.

This device is vailable to anyone at any age and any place.

Samozdrav (Cosmic Health) special features are simplicity and availability to anyone. This product
can be used by anyone of any age because the breathing device does not require any physical or
strong will efforts. You don't waist your time because during the breathing exercise you can watch television, read a newspaper and so on.

The device doesn't occupy much space. It is so compact that can be placed even into a small
handbag.

Take your personal breathing complex with you wherever you want so there is no need to interrupt breathing exercises.

Irina only paid 1000 rubles for the one she got in Russia (about $35) but shipping to here would kill you.
You can order them from http://bestmdm.com/catalog/?cat_id=23 for $169
and you might try www.ebay.com  where I found one as low as $68.

What makes us breathe?
Our breathing rate is directly controlled by several regions within the brainstem, collectively called
the respiratory center. The respiratory center, left to its own devices, generates a regular series of
impulses along the phrenic nerve that cause the diaphragm (the main breathing muscle) to
rhythmically contract and relax, in turn leading us to breathe in and out. However, the respiratory
center doesn’t exist in isolation; it receives inputs from many other parts of the nervous system
that alter that rhythm. Some inputs are excitatory, encouraging more frequent breathing; others
inhibit breathing.

The primary inputs that stimulate breathing come from sensors known as chemoreceptors, which continuously sample the chemical composition of body fluids. Some chemoreceptors are sensitive
to oxygen; when arterial oxygen levels decline, they trigger an inhale. Under normal circumstances,
though, oxygen levels don’t drop low enough to stimulate these receptors. They are like a thermostat turned way down; they only click on when oxygen levels are very low, and thus serve more as a last
resort than a day in, day out regulator of breathing.

Other chemoreceptors are sensitive to carbon dioxide levels. Those located in the brain stem are the primary regulators of breathing rate. Technically, they don’t sense carbon dioxide; rather they test the
pH of the cerebrospinal fluid (the fluid bath the brain and spinal cord float in). However, since the prime determinant of cerebrospinal pH is the carbon dioxide level in the blood, it amounts to the same thing. These sensors are far more sensitive than oxygen sensors; even a small rise in CO2 levels will cause them to fire, sending a signal to the respiratory center to trigger an inhale. Thus, we could say that, by
and large, we don’t breathe to take in oxygen, but to get rid of CO2.

There are many other inputs into the respiratory center as well, in particular from the cerebral cortex (the "executive office" of the brain, where conscious decisions are made) and the limbic system (a group of areas of the brain concerned with emotion). It’s not only physiology that determines breathing; emotions and conscious decisions play a role too.

For instance, you could choose not to breathe. Of course, you would soon find that your ability to control your breath in this way is limited. As CO2 levels rise, stimulation from the chemoreceptors will overpower signals from the "higher brain" and you’ll have no choice but to breathe. You can’t kill yourself by holding your breath. (An exception may be divers who hyperventilate before going underwater. Lowering CO2 levels beforehand allows them to hold their breath longer while diving. But if they don’t breathe when they need to, oxygen levels in the brain may drop so low that they lose consciousness and drown.)

This would seem to explain those long periods of suspension after the exhale when I gave up on hyperventilation: CO2 levels in my bloodstream had dropped so low that it took a while for them to build
up high enough to trigger another inhale. However, there is a problem with this answer. Chemoreceptors respond to increases in CO2; they are indifferent to decreases. In other words, they won’t cause you to stop breathing. This is why people who hyperventilate can continue to do so for long periods of time; there’s nothing to stop them, short of losing consciousness.

There are a lot of discrepancies in the research around this issue. Some studies have found periods of apnea common after hyperventilation; others have found the opposite. Some of this variation is likely due to the length of the period of hyperventilation being studied, with apneas being more common after long sessions than short. (This seems to lend credence to the mechanism I outlined above; the longer the period of hyperventilation, the more CO2 levels would be driven down.) However, even discounting that, there is a great deal of individual variation in how people respond to the aftermath of hyperventilation. Some react as I did, by ceasing breathing. Others don’t. And we still have the problem that there is no clearly explicable physiological reason why low CO2 levels should cause breathing to stop.

Of course, I was not a physiologically naive subject going in. I was aware that hyperventilation lowers CO2 levels, so perhaps at some level I made a conscious decision to stop breathing to bring them back to a normal range to restore blood flow to my fogged up brain. That’s a possibility, but to me, those periods of breath suspension felt involuntary, as if some unconscious part of the brain took over to restore my system to balance. I guess we have to leave it at that, until further research explains what happens.

In any case, not everyone will react to hyperventilation by stopping. Hyperventilation can continue for long periods, because the system of checks and balances that regulate internal conditions within the body don’t work well to restrain it. In fact, it’s possible that hyperventilation could become habitual for some individuals. It's this habitual breathing too fast that needs correcting if we truly want our cells to get proper oxygenation. Back to where you left off

Instructions for using the Samozdrav device breathing machine
(translated into English by my wife Irina)

We are looking into how to bring this machine to you because it can be purchased for only 1205 Rubles, about $42 USD in Russia and works really well. It is the most comprehensive of any of the methods /machines out there including the Frolov and Do it yourself machine.

These are the parts of the Samozdrav device involved

stage 1 breathing canister. Set at #1.

Stage2 outer canister is over inner canister of above pic and bellows is collapsed.
When used in stages 3 and 4 the outer canister is telescoped to create more volume inside of it
and in stage 4 has to be maintained vertical as water is added to the bottom of it to have to pull the
air through.

In stage 4 the flow restrictor moves from 1 to 4 which makes it more difficult to push/pull air though

This is the caprinator which is a 13 liter blow up bag to measure how long it takes you to fill it.

This is the caprinator bag filled. If you are breathing correctly it should take you two minutes
or longer to fill this bag using normal breathing. If you fill it in a minute or less which many do,
you are breathing too fast.

Training procedure

Breathe only through your mouth. The nose is completely blocked by fingers, cotton tampons or a special clip.

Position of the body is free, but the optimal position is a sitting position. On  stages 1,2, and 3 it is possible to lay down during use, but you should be sitting up for stage 4.

The mode of breath – usual breathing, without effort or delays. The main requirement: the inhale should not be deep, and the exhalation should not be fast, sharp, or abrupt.

The optimum duration of one adequate exercise  – 30-40 minutes continuously, maximal – 60 minutes continuously. It is undesirable to increase duration of one training more than 60 minutes.

Time of the first exercise at each stage – 3-10 minutes. Each next day add  one minute until you reach 30.  The days to get to 30 was just warmer upper days. The day of the first 30 minutes training actually commences the  1 ½ months of working stage 1.

Attention!!! For persons older than 70 years and younger people who are taking  medicine and/or have pacemakers installed, recommended time at each stage – 3 minutes. Each next day you should add 1 more minute and so on until 20 minutes. Probably don’t exceed 20 minutes. That is if you have heart problems or are on medication or have a pacemaker installed.

During training there should be no effort. If there is a condition of shortage of air or strong desire to stop breathing with the simulator, training should be stopped.

Periodicity. Training can be done minimally once a day at any convenient time before meal or in 2-3 hours after a meal.

But for achievement of the maximum result it is recommended to have two trainings per day; one before breakfast and the other before bedtime. If optimum duration of one training 60 minutes was chosen then the only 1 training per day can be done but twice a day is best.

Persons with high blood pressure at stages 2 and 3 are recommended to have 3 trainings (before breakfast, before dinner, before bedtime) and one 1 minute step increase at a time to increase their time of using the breathing apparatus to 40 minutes per day.  After blood pressure decreases then 2 trainings 30-40 minutes each at morning and before bedtime can be done.

  Stages of trainings.
This is a four to six month process. You didn’t get in this condition overnight and you aren’t going to get out of this condition overnight. But follow the regimen outlined below and your high blood pressure will disappear and you will breathe again like you are supposed to with many other health benefits of that.

For 1st stage
.
Begin with 3 to10 minute sessions depending on age. Working your
way up to 30 minutes per time of use, preferably twice a day; mornings and evenings.  Duration of the first stage is 1.5 months from the time you are doing 30 minutes/session, so essentially the first twenty days don’t count.

  For 2nd stage.
The same procedure except a different lid and an added external container
in contracted position is used to offer more restriction to increase CO2 being reinhaled as well as some increased resistance to breathing to strengthen chest diaphragm muscles.
Again, 30 minutes/day twice a day. Three times wouldn’t hurt. For 1.5 months.

For 3rd stage – same as for stage 2 except the external container is now in the expanded position which adds even more CO2 to the reinhaled breath.

Duration--1-3 months.

For 4th stage – now we get serious

This given stage is not recommended for children under 12 years,  for persons older
than 70 years or younger people, who have a short breath and are taking blood pressure medicine on a regular basis, as well as people who have had pacemakers installed.

Stage 4 utilizes both canisters and some water in the bottom of the larger canister to increase resistance to breathing. Time of the first training is 3-10 minutes. 15 days after reaching 30 minutes move the mark on the lid of the plastic cap of the breathing devise to number 2. This will allow your carbon dioxide intake to increase. In  another 15 days – to number 3. In 15 more days – to number 4. Movement of cap from number 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 for increasing resistance is used only at this fourth stage.

Duration of stage 4 - from 2 months on until blood pressure is completely normalized.

DURATION OF STAGES for special categories of people

Children till 10-12 years: 1,2 stages –one month, 3 stage – not less than 2 months. 4-th stage is excluded,

Persons over 70 years: 1st stage – one month, 2nd stage one month each, stage 3 one and a half months to two months. 4th stage is two months.

Persons older than 70 years and younger, who having a short breath and who taking medicine on a regular basis or have inserted medical device like pacemakers,  2nd stage – one and a half months, 3rd stage - not less than 3 months. Stage 4 is excluded.

People with low blood pressure are recommended to begin each stage with 1-2 minutes (add one more minute in 2-3 days). If lower (diastolic) pressure below 60 mm make the breathing exercise only before bedtime. Optimum duration of one training is  20-30 minutes continuously.

  EXTENSION OF TRAININGS

After going through of all stages it is recommended to continue exercise constantly for 30 minutes 1-2 times a day using the stage 4 setup with both canisters, water in the bottom and marker set at 4 for maximum resistance and CO2 reinhalation.

In case of finishing exercises after all stages stipulated for you, it is necessary to check content of СО2 once in 2 months by means of included kapnomer. That’s the white plastic bag you blow in to and time how long it takes to fill it up. If concentration of СО2 has decreased significantly then it’s necessary to make the exercises with the simulator 2 times per day for 30 minutes,  until the concentration СО2 will be increased up to a level which was before you have stopped the trainings.

If you have stopped training and didn’t do that more than 3 months, it is recommended to begin the trainings with the first stage, but the stages can be passed at accelerated pace. Each stage should be not less than one month.

Some patients at certain stages (more often at transition from one stage to another)

can observe the condition which is perceived as an aggravation of diseases. It is a natural display of process of improvement – not aggravation of illness, but the restoration of work of nervous receptors which start to pass into brain the information about painful condition of the body. This condition has short-term character, and exercises should not be stopped. It is possible to lower a load on a simulator (for example, lower the quantity of trainings to 1 time, to lower duration of one training for 5 minutes), but it is not recommended to stop exercises.

Additional recommendations

A healthy body by itself can automatically retain the necessary content (6-б.5 %) carbonic gas in
the arterial blood. Carbonic gas is natural internal vasodilating. At its normal content in the blood ,vessels are in the normal expanded condition that provides a normal pressure on the heart and normal blood flow to vital organs.

With age under the influence of stress and hipodynamia the level of carbonic gas content in the blood decreases, therefore there is a natural compression of vessels with reduction of their orifice size..

As a result of training, СО2 content comes close to the norm in a few months.  Illnesses that had their origin due to unsufficiency infringement of blood supply and an overload on the heart -  disappear.
Threat of a heart attack and stroke decreases.

1. Breathing during the training should be the same, as without the simulator. If it is not possible, it is necessary to reduce time of a session or temporarily go back to a previous stage. Strict performance of the recommendation about a gradual increase of duration of session guarantees gradual accustoming of the body to react to the influence of the training.

2. Training should be done on an empty stomach or in 2-3 hours after meal.

3. Training should not be done during a time of any emotional stress.

For relaxation it is recommended 20 minutes prior to a session to take calming medicine  (valerian root).
A full relaxation – a mandatory condition for the training. Any pressure causes allocation of adrenaline – a vessel-narrowing substance that comes to contradict a positive effect of each session.

4. Attention: it is not allowed  to try « to accelerate the process », to receive feelable experience, to make delays of breath, to deepen an exhalation, prematurely pass from one stage to another. The attempt to accelerate the process always results in delay of the restoration process, or in deterioration of the
reached parameters.

The body needs the time interval dictated to adjust to changes.

5.  The process of restoration of normal level of carbonic gas in arterial blood and making an increase in size of vessels up to a normal condition will take up to 4-10 months. And the older person is the more duration of sessions and time before the result will be seen is required. Also it is necessary to consider, that after restoration of proper size of vessels and improvement of blood supply to the vital organs, and removal of overload from the heart the body needs more months for self improvement: carrying out of processes of regeneration (restoration of tissues of joints, backbone and internal organs), the compensation of the weakened functions. It is not necessary to wait for the fast results – the training is calculated for 4-10 months. In addition some more months may continue for regenerative work.

6. In the beginning of training about a third of patients have a reaction to cleansing the bodies out. It looks like illness symptoms. There are salivation or dryness in the mouth, runny stuff from the nose, tears, frequent pee or liquid poop. It is possible to see a short-term increase of arterial pressure and pulse frequency.

Usually these phenomena occur 1-2 weeks from the beginning of training or at transition from one stage to another. The trainings can’t be stopped. If pressure raises more than 20мм of mercury column, it is necessary to take sedatives before trainings. After the reaction of self-cleansing, significant improvement of health comes.

  7. In some cases the barriers, impeding to increase СО2 in body are taking place:

- High emotions;

- Strong nervous stress;

- Influence of quickly changing environmental conditions (temperature of air, atmospheric pressure, fast changes of climate).

Sometimes there are internal reasons that prevent increase of the content of СО2 in the blood. It is the age related sclerosis of blood vessels that does vessels like rigid plastic tubes. For such individuals high blood pressure can be normal for their bodies. However even in this case the training allows the pressure to be stabilized on lowermost possible levels. "Jumps" of pressure is not be observed any longer. And such pressure can’t be reduced by pills, because its reduction will lead to deterioration of blood supply to the brain and will create threat of the stroke.

The machine Samozdrav (Self-health) is intended only for restoration of the natural order in the body. There are many things that the body by itself can put in order after normalization of blood supply to all organs and tissues. For example, cartilage in joints and  backbone are restored. As a result arthritis and back pain  disappear. After unloading the heart irregular heart beat and pains disappear. There is no need for  pharmaceutical meds among which there is no one that doesn’t do harm to the body.

But there are also internal changes that nothing can cure. For example, the body cannot grow new teeth, cells of brain, heart, kidneys and lungs.

If you do not restore normal blood supply and do not lower to the norm the load on the heart the reconstruction of normal activity of the body is absolutely impossible. To restore blood supply the
degree of revival is limited only by frameworks of the irreversible internal changes.

The complex is called self-health by reason. With help there is the natural order in the body to
restore itself.  And with its help the body ITSELF restores everything that it is capable of restoring.

Level 1. Buteyko Breathing Exercises: Survival (Modules 1-7)

Level 1 goals: The student is able to eliminate the main symptoms of own health problems (e.g., asthma, heart disease, epilepsy, sinusitis, eczema, insomnia, constipation, etc.) using the Emergency Procedure so that the Emergency Procedure can substitute the use of medication or significantly reduce the dosage (e.g., twice). Such students have low morning CPs (usually about 5-15 s ), while elimination or reduction in medication and survival are their main practical results. Only about 10% of learners or less are satisfied with this level. (Most people proceed to the next level.) It takes from about 1 hour to about 1-2 days to learn it.

Module 1. Crucial preliminary Buteyko instructions
and goals

Imagine about 200 medical professionals who have taught some health therapy to over 200,000 patients during several decades. Obviously, Russian doctors accumulated huge clinical experience in relation to teaching the Buteyko method, chances of success of their patients, final outcomes, etc. They also found that there are preliminary conditions, of social and psychological nature, which are linked to the final results of a typical Buteyko student. Your chances of later success depend on:
1-A. Voluntary hyperventilation or deep breathing test
1-B. Theoretical studies (at least 2 hours)
1-C. Your interactions with surrounding people
"Such patients who have undergone deep breathing tests and assimilated the theory with an excellent mark are allowed to proceed with the second stage of training. Those who have not understood the theory will continue the studies..." Buteyko KP, The method of volitional elimination of deep breathing [Translation of the Small Buteyko Manual], Voskresensk, 1994.

Module 2. Learn Buteyko: How to measure the CP (Control Pause)

Warning signWarning. Most people do not have any problems with measuring the CP. However, some people with heart disease, panic attacks, migraine headaches, and few other, exceptionally rare conditions, may experience unpleasant symptoms, which can appear soon after measuring the CP (in 1-5 minutes). If this happens, do not measure your CP for a while. Later, when your breathing will be about 2-3 times lighter and the CP 2-3 times longer, these unpleasant symptoms after the CP test will not appear. Your initial breathing program should focus on the reduction of your pulse (or heart rate).
For over 95% of people, it is safe to measure their CP many times per day and observe the effects of stress, meals, exercise, posture, thermoregulation, and many other life-style factors on their CP, breathing, and health. You can easily measure your body-oxygen level using the stress-free breath-holding time test (this web page is from the Homepage section; with Google Video clip).

Module 3. Earthing - How to ground yourself

The very first and easiest step to increase your (low) CP is to get free electrons from Earth due to grounding yourself. Electrons are Nature's free antioxidants. You can find more information about the health benefits and reasons behind electrical grounding here: Earthing. This is an exceptionally important step to reduce inflammation and normalize sleep, nerve and muscle function, as well as dozens of other fundamental physiological processes.
For practical actions and steps, click here: How to ground yourself.

Module 4. Learn the Emergency Procedure

"Practically, a human can change own breathing using will power and experience how the disease relates to breathing. Reduced breathing can alleviate, in 1-5 minutes, all the symptoms we were talking about: bronchial spasms (attacks of asthma or bronchitis), blocked nose (to unblock the nose), eliminate spasms of brain vessels - migraine or headache, spasms of heart vessels, spasms of blood vessels of arms and feet (endarteritis), ulcer pains (spasms of vessels in the stomach), spasms of bile ducts (cholecystitis), to prevent an epilepsy attack… during frost to warm up the arms or the nose is simple – decrease breathing. Blood vessels dilate and you are warmed up! You are frightened, excited, you have a nervous shiver – slow down the breathing and in 1-2 minutes you will get peace. Using these mechanisms you can control your own body!” Buteyko KP, Carbon dioxide theory and a new method of treatment and prevention of diseases of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, nervous system, and some other diseases, Public lecture in the Moscow State University on 9 December 1969.

4-D. How to warm up cold hands and feet, prevent insomnia, skin itching and panic attacks using Buteyko breathing exercises
The same Procedure (4-D) with reduced breathing and no breath holds can be safely also applied for phobias, spasms of the stomach, spasms of the bile duct, edema, eyes' puffiness and other situations.

Module 5. Measure and record your MCP (morning CP) every day

Each morning, as soon as the student wakes up and is still in bed, he or she should measure the morning CP, if there are no contraindications. This should be done immediately after you open your eyes. Why? Just 5-10 minutes later your breathing parameters can be different and the crucial information about your breathing during the last hours of sleep can be lost. If you have contraindications, measure your heart rate during 1 minute and record it in your daily log.
Your changes in morning-CP numbers will be used later for finding the causes of the problem with morning hyperventilation.
How and why your morning CP is crucial for your health restoration
Optional link: Morning hyperventilation* (with Google Video clip) from the Homepage. Follow this link, especially if your CP drops during the night.

Module 6. Prevent sleeping on your back and best sleeping positions

Q: Do I need this module?
A: If you find yourself sleeping on your back at least during 2 nights in a week time, yes, you need this module.
When your morning CP is 25 s or more, you do not need any steps in this direction since this problem will disappear naturally.

Module 7. Maintain nasal breathing 24/7

Q: Do I need this module?
A: If you know that you sometimes breathe through your mouth, yes, you need this module.
If you ask any of your friends, relatives or co-workers, and they tell you that you sometimes breathe through your mouth or have your mouth open, yes, you need this module.
If you wake up in the morning with dry mouth at least 2 times per week, yes, you need this module.
When your CP is 25 s or more 24/7, you do not need any steps in this direction since this problem will disappear naturally.
Manual (Instructional Guide) "How to stop mouth breathing" with free PDF file to download. For more ideas, visit Buteyko mouth-taping technique and Stop mouth breathing treatment.

Level 2 "Existence"

Level 2 goals: Students have partly normalized own breathing until about 25-35 s daily CP and over 20 s MCP (morning CP), so that they have no need for medication and do not experience the symptoms of their main health problem, e.g., asthma, bronchitis, heart disease, epilepsy, sinusitis, eczema, etc. However, such learners can still suffer from airways inflammation, allergies, GI problems, diabetes, arthritis, and other hormonal problems and musculo-skeletal disorders. Most medications are absolutely unnecessary, but some medical drugs (e.g., insulin, thyroxin, etc.) can be required to control symptoms of these “higher-CP” diseases. This is the level (Level 2) which is usually achieved by most people following Buteyko instructions in the West. Depending on amount of practice and other factors, it takes about 0.5 - 2 months to learn.
A diagram of required steps in order to achieve over 20 s CP 24/7:
Chart for CP 20 requirements
"No acute hv" means avoidance of those hyperventilating activities that cause CO2 losses and affect the CP. These activities include coughing, sighing, yawning, sniffing, singing, and others. "PE" means physical exercise.
All other requirements have specific Modules on this page.

Module 8. How to develop diaphragmatic breathing 24/7

- Find out about exact criteria for transition to unconscious or automatic diaphragmatic breathing at rest
Module 8. How to develop diaphragmatic breathing 24/7.

Module 9. Restrictions, limits, and temporary contraindications

Normal breathing is the fundamental property of the healthy organism. Hence, breathing normalization is the natural way to deal with pathologies of the human body. However, not all people can use the same method in their breathing normalization. While most people can apply the same general ideas, exercises and techniques (including reduced breathing exercise and DIY breathing device), there are groups of people who require modifications (individual tailoring) in their breathing retraining programs due to certain restrictions, limits, and temporary contraindications.
Warning sign for Buteyko breathing retraining programYou should adjust your program and follow specific links, if you have:
Migraine headaches, panic attacks, and heart disease (aortic aneurysms; angina pectoris; arrhythmia; atherosclerosis (plaque buildup); cardiomyopathy; ciliary arrhythmia (cardiac fibrillation); chest pain (angina pectoris); high cholesterol; chronic ischemia; congenital heart disease; congestive heart failure; coronary artery disease; endocarditis; extrasystole; heart murmurs; hypertension; hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; tachnycardia; pericarditis; post-myocardial infarction; stroke)
Respiratory disorders involving lungs (asthma, bronchitis, COPD, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, tuberculosis; pulmonary edema; etc.)
Presence of transplanted organs
Pregnancy
Brain traumas and acute bleeding injuries
Blood clots
Acute stages (exacerbations) of life-threatening conditions (infarct, stroke, cardiac ischemia, severe asthma attack, metastasizing cancer, septic shock, multiple organ failure, near-death experience, etc.)
Insulin-dependent diabetes (type 2 diabetes)
Loss of CO2 sensitivity
Low weight (underweight)
Warning. Consult your family physician or GP about use of this breathing exercise for your specific health problems.
Advice signIf your current CP is less than 25 s, your most optimum breathing exercise for faster CP growth is with a DIY breathing device or the Frolov breathing device. Hence, it is smart and much easier to start with the use of Amazing DIY Breathing Device or Frolov Breathing Device (their effects are similar). You can learn the Buteyko reduced breathing exercises later, when your CP is more than 30 s.

How to sleep less: If you want to increase your morning CP, you surely need to know and use methods and techniques that help you to sleep less. Longer sleep means more damage due to hyperventilation and greatly reduced rate of your overall week-after-week progress.

Module 16. Physical Activity and Running

Benefits of physical activity - Promoting increased cell oxygenation. Learn about the relationship and optimum proportions in relation to breathing exercises.
Benefits of running - Jogging, according to Dr. Buteyko, is the most natural way to improve body-oxygen levels. Furthermore, it can be the key factor to achieve very high CPs and super-health states.
Breathing techniques for running - correct breathing during running (for maximum O2 delivery to cells) is based on nasal, diaphragmatic, and slow breathing. Find the secret of Tarahumara legendary running abilities, which also include barefoot running.
Training mask - if you want to maximize effects of exercise (make exercise nearly twice more effective) consider using Training Mask. The mask can be used when one has over 20-25 s CP. It is particularly beneficial for those who like sports, or have too little time for exercise, or do not use breathing devices (i.e., uses only the Buteyko exercises).

Module 17. Talking Skills

Proper public speaking techniques and talking skills - Correct talking skills require reduced ventilation of the lungs for higher CO2 and O2 levels in body cells.

Module 18. Digestive Health Signs

Ideal or normal digestive health has numerous signs that indicate effective work of the GI tract. Most modern people have poor digestive health due to low O2 levels in body cells. This manifested in their use of toilet paper due to the soiling effect.
How to improve digestion - eBook that provides a practical program for people with GI problems, and even most ordinary people.

Module 19. Buteyko Breathing Problems

When a breathing student is stuck with less than 30 s CP, there are numerous causes that can be responsible for their inability to get higher body O2. These causes are summarized as Buteyko breathing problems.

Module 20. Emotional Trauma: Effects and Solutions

This is a new module that was added in January 2013. It can be located somewhere above due to its importance. Over 90% of people have emotional traumas that poison their current lives. For some people, this past emotional trauma (usually a childhood trauma) can play a decisive role in their poor health and a low morning CP. Find out more about Emotional trauma: effects and solutions.

There are rumors that getting more than 40 or 60 s morning CP is very hard. With the right program, it is relatively easy for younger people (in 20-40s), and I had even people who were over 60 or 70 years old and were able to get more than 60 s for the morning CP in about 6-10 weeks after starting the course. There will be more information here about the required steps. At the moment, there are 2 sources of such information: Oxygen Remedy online webinars and my big book.
This transition to over 40 s for the morning CP requires several important factors:
- 33-35 s for the morning CP (if you have less, you need to review Sleep Modules and increase your morning CP)
- 50+ s CP during the day or after Buteyko breathing exercises. If you have over 30 s for the morning CP, but cannot get this result (over 50 s for the final CP), get my eBook that is called "Advanced Buteyko Breathing Exercises" in either Kindle or PDF format
- less than 6.5 hours of sleep naturally (without trying)
- and no soiling (see my book "How to Improve Digestion" and achieve this effect).
